OUR STORY
A taverna below the Acropolis
Plakiotis is a warm, welcoming taverna on Dionysiou Areopagitou, next to Acropoli metro station.
The Salaounis family, with 45 years in the restaurant trade, created it in 1998. Owner Chr. Salaounis personally oversees the traditional dishes, made from carefully chosen ingredients.
Every day, live rebetiko and laika songs on bouzouki and guitar accompany your table.
The menu offers appetizers, Greek dishes, grills, fish, salads and desserts, with a photo for every dish.
